The M-CHAT-R/F is a scientifically validated screening tool that helps identify children who may benefit from a developmental evaluation. It takes about 5 minutes to complete.

How it works:

  • Answer 20 yes/no questions about your child's behavior
  • Get an immediate risk assessment
  • If needed, complete follow-up questions for clarification

Important:

This is a screening tool, NOT a diagnostic instrument. A positive screen does NOT mean your child has autism. Only a qualified professional can diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
